Detailing Terms of Service

This policy is effective as at 09/09/2024.  

All detailing services will require a 50% deposit to be paid before a booking is accepted.

This deposit will become non-refundable if:
- A System X ceramic protection service is not confirmed or cancelled within 7 days of your original booking date
- A general detailing service is not confirmed or cancelled within 7 days of your original booking date

This deposit can be paid by credit card over the phone or through direct debit. Please note that clearance times for direct debit transfers may differ depending on your financial institution, and your booking will be confirmed once funds are received as cleared.

All vehicles must be presented for physical inspection in order for a fixed price quote to be provided. If for any reason the vehicle cannot be presented for physical inspection then all quoted prices will be based on a sight unseen condition, and the vehicle assumed to require a standard level of detailing. 

If, upon presenting the vehicle on the booking date, the condition requires more extensive detailing or is no longer of a similar standard to when a written quote was provided, then additional charges will apply.

All personal items must be removed from the vehicle prior to work commencing. Glossworks Auto Detailing will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items, although all care and attention will be paid to ensure this does not occur.

Reasonable access must be provided to all areas of the vehicle that require detailing. This includes the removal of roof racks/platforms, side rails, seat covers etc. If any areas do not have reasonable access they either may not be detailed, or additional cost will apply for the removal and reinstallation of the accessories.

All detailing work shall be warranted for an industry standard 48 hour touch up period (excluding System X products which are subject to third party warranty terms). Any areas of concern need to be raised with Glossworks Auto Detailing within this 48 hour period in order for the areas to be corrected free of charge. If for any reason the vehicle cannot be presented to Glossworks Auto Detailing for the corrective works to take place within a reasonable timeframe, then Glossworks Auto Detailing may offer a partial refund to be valued at their discretion.
